Cuban salsa, also known as Casino or Rueda de Casino, is an energetic and joyful dance style that originated in Cuba. It is characterized by its lively footwork, intricate partner work, and circular patterns danced in a group formation. Cuban salsa is highly social and encourages interaction among dancers, fostering a sense of community and camaraderie. In Rueda de Casino, couples dance in a circle and execute synchronized moves, often prompted by a designated caller. Cuban salsa/rueda is a vibrant celebration of music, dance, and the lively spirit of Cuban culture.
